For me, this is more than a beautiful phrase. It has become a way of living.

It is also at the heart of what I create at Bouboulina—flowing boho silk clothing, romantic dresses, colorful layers and wearable art designed to help women celebrate the goddess already living inside them.

From Watching the Flowers to Becoming Part of the Beauty

After experiencing tremendous loss and spending nearly five years largely confined to bed because of Long COVID, the world outside my window became incredibly precious to me.

I remember looking at flowers through the glass.

I could see their colors. I could admire their beauty. But I wasn't able to step outside and become part of that world in the way I wanted.

And then, somehow, this magical place appeared almost right next to my home.

I truly believe my angels had something to do with it. 👼🌹

Today, instead of simply looking at the flowers through a window, I can stand among them. I can laugh, create, dress up, take photographs, share beautiful moments with friends and watch my silk creations move in the sunlight.

I can be part of the beauty.

And that changes everything.

Fashion Can Be More Than Something We Wear

This is why Bouboulina has never felt like simply “clothing” to me.
